weather hazards have led the organization of Tractor Pulling at the 26th stop prematurely, disappointing and a part of you, friends spectators, spoiling the holiday that many expect from one year to another.
Association has set up structures to accommodate you and all the necessary resources requested by the authorities in order to organize this event, involving expenditure financed solely by the inputs. The public was able to enjoy during the weekend, a park tractors never so complete and has to approach the craft up close.
Saturday afternoon, for those who arrived 14H from the competition series tractors and gardens, never held, was a complete success. The test pickup Saturday night and the qualifications Superstock permattaient think it would be a great night of pulling unfortunately interrupted by an unexpected rain continues through all weather sites available within a week ...
Sunday morning, the organization, in collaboration with the French Federation and the European Committee, decided to start much earlier events (11H instead of 13H) and passing the final Superstock then the 4.5T, Eurocup event. The public, strong and has benefited from these two races as well as qualifications for Eurocup 2.5T, 2 times interrupted by showers.
The storm that followed did not permit the organization to ensure continued competition in conditions of adequate security: some of the power supplies has been ripped by a gust of wind, leaving the site PA. The runway would, in turn, be redone, which would require more than half an hour and then another downpour occurred one hour after the storm, which, anyway, rebâcher would have led to the runway, and rework the interrupt competition Prostock planned.
The decision to stop testing when the storm turned out to be correct, the show was ruined by the disastrous weather.
The organization is aware that some viewers were disappointed not to see all the tractors compete. Our association, nonprofit, made a first approach to the financial results this weekend and it is clear that it looks red. Of actions will be implemented to limit losses. Our volunteers work dozens, looking for some hundreds of hours outside of their work, simply for the pleasure of success of this event as expected and, although their morale is affected, the team is determined to succeed in 2010 , think about already, and will start working! This should be fun for you all, viewers. We guarantee it for 5 and 6 June 2010.
